Wax Future

Since they first met back in 2014, Connor Hansell and Keith Wadsworth have been
exploring new sonic territory. Pulling from diverse musical backgrounds, the duo
combine music that is distinctly of our time, but harkens back to the glory days of
analogue recording. Blending a mix of hard hitting drums, classic hip hop and funk
grooves, guitar, and an ever changing arsenal of analogue synths, the two create
captivating music, that is as focused on story telling as it is on sound design. On
stage Wax is known for its energetic live performances, which incorporate live
instrumentation, including guitar, bass, vocals, and modular synthesis. Together the
two have released music on various labels, including Atlantic Records and Gravitas.
They have also had several sync placements on channels including VH1, and on The
Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Comedy Central. The duo has performed and toured
with an eclectic mix of acts, including Pretty Lights, Lotus and Manic Focus.

Zentrix

Matt Zentrix originated on the west coast of Canada, growing up in the rain drenched temperate rainforests, clear rivers, and salt stained beaches of cascadia. He used to spend hours staring out of car windows listening to music and dreaming. Now he travels the world and shares that music with all manner of strange and beautiful people, dancing together under jungle canopies, in abandoned warehouses, and on foggy mountaintops. When it all comes together there is nothing better.

Creatura

Creatura is a music producer and DJ, spinning bass heavy tunes including dub, dubstep & soulful electronic beats. Her solo work is a collaboration of hip hop beats & ambient vocals that encompass the atmosphere of a room. Based in Berlin + Toronto, her work is constantly seeking to dive deeper into sound by transmuting emotion into artwork. Whether it’s through her own music or spinning favourites, Creatura hopes to inspire & deeply move her listeners.

Vie Sauvage

“The French name “”Vie Sauvage”” was inspired by one of the artist’s core values: the protection and respect of wildlife in all its forms. Her love and deep respect for nature can be felt in the creation of her DJ sets. It’s not uncommon to hear her own recordings of ambient sounds and animals she has encountered on her numerous trips around the globe.

The artist has gained valuable experience by performing for over a decade at a variety of events including festivals, raves, after-hours and clubs. While exploring various genres of electronic music, her style has matured into a unique signature sound, which combines the intensity and depth of progressive house music, textured with some organic elements, and filled with house inspired grooves and melodies. With a broad understanding of the current musical landscape, she curates her DJ sets with a warm, textured and authentic energy. Her ability to create captivating musical narratives can be felt in the way she takes the listener on an emotional journey through a range of immersive and often deep frequencies.

Mission:
With the mission to give back to rehabilitation organizations and sanctuaries for wildlife, Vie Sauvage fully embodies her name. While traveling around the globe, she volunteers in different countries with orphaned or endangered wildlife. Knowing that a merger of her two passions needed to happen, Véronique also organized her first fundraiser in 2023 where DJs played in support of wild animal rehabilitation. She hopes to raise awareness of the value of preserving our planet and all its life forms.

This power couple are also the co-founders of Eden Creative Collective, a pillar of the Montreal music scene whose mission is to celebrate creativity within festive environments by organizing massive themed parties and interactive theater plays.”

Lyra has been a staple in the electronic music community of the Maritimes for many years, throwing down eclectic and fresh beats every show and mix. Spending hours crate digging for the most unique tracks she will inspire some feels on the dancefloor for everyone! Lyra resides in Halifax NS Canada but has made waves all over the continent with her livestreams featured on Sugar Shack and twitch over the years. She plays multiple genres making her versatile and ready for any crowd, lately being influenced by techno, electro and breaks mixed together as well as her ongoing love for jungle, footwork and dnb. “A multi-genre psychonaut based out of Moncton, New Brunswick, ONEBIGBANG has something to offer everyone. Since debuting his first live show at Future Forest in 2018, ONEBIGBANG is known for his heavy-hitting Bass House and Drum & Bass sets that will have you dancing from start to finish.

KUKULA

Kukula began attending raves across Atlantic Canada at the age of 16, immersing himself in the vibrant electronic music scene. His passion for music deepened after attending the renowned Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2005, inspiring him to purchase his first set of Technic 1200 turntables. From there, Kukula’s journey in the music world expanded as he founded Future Forest, a unique fusion of art and nature. Today, he serves as the Executive Director of Future Forest, guiding the vision of the festival. When time allows, Kukula enjoys sharing his love for music through his own performances and mixes.
