Future Forest 2026 Terms & Conditions
Version 2.3 | Effective June 23, 2026
In these Terms, “Future Forest”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Future Forest Music & Arts Festival Inc., the company that operates the festival and owns the festival grounds. “Future Forest 2026”, the “event”, and the “festival” mean the 2026 Future Forest music and arts festival operated by Future Forest. “You” and “your” mean the person who purchases a ticket or pass, or who enters the festival grounds or participates in any festival activity.
By purchasing a ticket, entering the event grounds, or participating in any festival activity, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, the Code of Conduct, and the Liability Waiver (collectively, the “Terms”). These Terms apply to all attendees, contributors, artists, vendors, staff, and volunteers.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, human rights, or other laws that cannot be waived or restricted by contract.
1. Age Requirements
- You must be 18 years of age or older on the date you enter the festival grounds to attend Future Forest 2026.
- No one under 18, including infants and children, is permitted on site.
- Entry to Future Forest is open to those 18 years of age or older. The legal age to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol and cannabis in New Brunswick is 19. You must be 19 years of age or older to possess or consume alcohol or cannabis anywhere on the festival grounds, regardless of your eligibility to enter. You are responsible for complying with this requirement, and proof of age may be required at any time.
- Some partnered or off-site events may require attendees to be 19 years or older; those events will communicate these requirements.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s licence, passport, or provincial ID card) is required for entry and may be checked at any time.
- Underage possession or consumption of alcohol or cannabis, providing alcohol or cannabis to anyone under 19, or use of false identification will result in immediate removal without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
2. Ticketing & Entry
2.1 Wristbands
- Festival wristbands are non-transferable.
- Wristbands must remain intact and securely fastened on your wrist for the duration of the event.
- You must not share, resell, or tamper with your wristband.
- Damaged, altered, or tampered wristbands are void and may result in removal without refund.
2.2 Ticket Format, Responsibility & Delivery
- Tickets for Future Forest are issued only as physical hardcopy security tickets. Electronic tickets are not available.
- You must present your original hardcopy ticket at the gate; digital images, screenshots, emails, invoices, or receipts are not accepted for entry.
- You are solely responsible for your ticket and any associated barcodes or QR codes.
- As a general rule, lost, stolen, destroyed, or unused tickets are not refundable or replaceable, except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by law.
- Tickets or barcodes that are duplicated, altered, counterfeit, or otherwise tampered with are invalid and may result in denied entry without refund.
Shipping & Delivery
- For tickets purchased directly from the official Future Forest Store, we use tracked shipping.
- If your tickets are not delivered due to an error by Future Forest or our shipping provider, and you notify us within 30 days of purchase, we will void the undelivered ticket codes and issue replacement tickets at no additional ticket cost, in accordance with our shipping guarantee described on our official channels.
- This shipping guarantee does not apply to tickets purchased from third-party sellers, including any ticket exchange groups or resale platforms. It does not cover errors caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address you provided. Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipments.
Forgotten Ticket & Replacement Exception
- If you arrive at the event without your hardcopy ticket, you may be required to purchase a replacement ticket at the gate.
- In limited circumstances and at Future Forest’s discretion, if we confirm that your original ticket was never scanned or used, we may refund the unused ticket (less any applicable processing fee, without refunding shipping or transaction fees), as described in our FAQ or other official channels.
2.3 Standard Entry & Early Access
General Admission & Camping: Your festival ticket includes access to the event and general camping from Friday, August 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM until Monday, August 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM, unless otherwise communicated.
Early Access is required for any attendee who wishes to enter the event grounds before 8:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026.
For the purposes of these Terms, the festival officially opens, meaning the full site including stages and programming becomes available subject to the published schedule, at 12:00 PM (noon) on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Before that time, only the camping area is open, and only to holders of a valid Early Access Pass; stages, programming, vendor areas, and other festival areas may not be available.
What you need to enter on each day. Each Early Access Pass is in addition to a GA Weekend Ticket, not instead of one, and Wednesday access also requires a Thursday Early Access Pass. In summary:
Passes are per person. An Early Access Pass is not valid for entry on its own, and a Wednesday Early Access Pass is not valid without a Thursday Early Access Pass.
Wednesday Early Access Pass
- Entry begins Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
- Fee: $50 per person (subject to change as displayed at checkout).
- Only the camping area will be open; stages and programming may not yet be available.
- The Wednesday Early Access Pass requires both a valid GA Weekend Ticket and a Thursday Early Access Pass. Wednesday access is not valid on its own.
Thursday Early Access Pass
- Entry begins Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
- Fee: $90 per person in advance (subject to availability).
- Only the camping area is open to Thursday Early Access Pass holders until the festival officially opens (see above).
Full details of passes and what each includes are also set out on the 2026 Tickets page and other official channels.
2.4 Re-Entry
- Re-entry to the site is allowed only with a valid, intact wristband, and government-issued photo ID on request.
- Re-entry on foot. Once you have checked in, you may leave and re-enter the event on foot with your valid, intact wristband at any time, including after 1:00 AM.
- Re-entry by vehicle. Re-entry by vehicle is permitted only if you hold a valid parking pass and present a valid, intact wristband. A vehicle re-entry fee of $10 per vehicle, per re-entry applies. Vehicle re-entry on these conditions is available at any time, including after 1:00 AM.
- New arrivals after 1:00 AM. The main gate closes to new arrivals at 1:00 AM each night and reopens in the morning. If you have not yet checked in, you cannot enter the site after 1:00 AM and must wait until the gate reopens. Re-entry on foot or by vehicle on the conditions above remains available. These arrangements may change for safety or operational reasons, and you must follow the directions of gate and security staff.
2.5 Ticket Revocation & Denied Entry
- A ticket or wristband is a revocable licence to attend the event.
- Future Forest reserves the right to deny entry or revoke admission at any time, without compensation, if you:
- Fail to comply with these Terms or the Code of Conduct;
- Engage in behaviour that is unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or harmful to others; or
- Present a safety, security, operational, or legal concern in the reasonable judgment of Future Forest or security staff.
- Any such decision will be made in good faith and in accordance with applicable law.
2.6 Third-Party Purchases & Resale
- Only tickets purchased through Future Forest’s official ticketing platform or authorized vendors are guaranteed to be valid.
- Tickets may be resold only by physical transfer of the original hardcopy ticket and only through means that comply with these Terms and any official Future Forest resale guidelines (Future Forest Ticket Exchange Group on Facebook).
- Future Forest may, at its discretion, assist in verifying the validity of tickets offered through officially endorsed resale channels, but does not facilitate or guarantee payment, delivery, or the conduct of buyers or sellers. All third-party transactions are at the buyer’s and seller’s own risk.
- Tickets purchased through unauthorized or unverified channels may be refused at the gate without refund. Unauthorized resale or resale in violation of the terms of the original purchase may result in denied entry or cancellation of the ticket without refund.
3. Refund Policy
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
3.1 All Sales Final
- All ticket and pass sales are final.
- Tickets, wristbands, Early Access passes, parking passes, Reserved Site passes, and other add-ons are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. They cannot be transferred to another year, except as expressly stated in these Terms or where required by law.
- No refunds will be provided for:
- Illness (including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases),
- Scheduling conflicts,
- Failure to attend,
- Personal or travel issues, or
- Dissatisfaction with any aspect of the event, except where required by law.
3.2 Event Changes
- Future Forest may, at its discretion, change or modify the lineup, schedule, stages, vendors, programming, or site layout.
- Such changes do not constitute a cancellation of the event and are not grounds for a refund or credit, except where required by law.
3.3 Event Cancellation, Curtailment, or Postponement
- If Future Forest 2026 is postponed, Future Forest will ordinarily honour your ticket for the rescheduled dates, as communicated via official channels.
- If Future Forest 2026 is cancelled, postponed, or significantly curtailed due to events beyond Future Forest’s reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, natural disaster, public health orders, pandemic restrictions, acts of government, security threats, or other force majeure events), Future Forest may, acting reasonably and in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, do one or more of the following:
- Honour existing tickets for rescheduled dates,
- Offer a credit toward a future Future Forest event, and/or
- In limited circumstances, offer refunds in whole or in part.
- The form and amount of any credit or refund, and any conditions for using a credit, will be determined by Future Forest acting reasonably and in good faith in accordance with applicable law and communicated via official channels.
- Refunds are not guaranteed and will generally not be offered for cancellations or curtailments due to force majeure, except where required by law.
- Future Forest is not responsible for any indirect or incidental costs you incur (such as travel, accommodation, or third-party fees) in the event of cancellation, postponement, or curtailment.
This Section 3.3 sets out the parties’ complete agreement on the consequences of any event that prevents, postpones, or curtails Future Forest 2026, including any event that frustrates or renders impossible the performance of your ticket contract. It is intended to apply in place of, and to displace, the Frustrated Contracts Act (RSNB 2011, c. 164) and any common law doctrine of frustration, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent any such legislation or doctrine cannot be displaced, it applies only to the extent it is consistent with this Section 3.3.
3.4 Removal for Violations
- Attendees removed from the event or denied entry for violating these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or any law are not entitled to a refund or credit.
4. Payment Plans
- Eligibility: Payment plans may be available for qualifying purchases totalling $250 or more, as displayed at checkout.
- Third-Party Provider: Payment plans are processed through a third-party service provider selected by Future Forest (currently “Future Pay” powered by Partial.ly or a successor service). Your use of a payment plan is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
- Payment Methods: Payment plans are available only via the payment methods shown at checkout (e.g., credit cards). Other methods, such as e-transfer, are not accepted for payment plans.
- Deposit: A 10% non-refundable deposit (based on the total order value) is required to start a payment plan, except where a refund is required by law or under Section 3 (Refund Policy).
- Installments: The remaining balance will be divided into 2 to 9 automatic installments, depending on the purchase date and the plan options presented at checkout.
- Payment Deadline: Full payment must be received by June 30, 2026. If your plan is not paid in full by this date, Future Forest may cancel your ticket and payment plan.
4.1 Automatic Payments & Failed Transactions
- By enrolling in a payment plan, you authorize Future Forest’s payment processor or third-party provider to automatically charge your selected payment method for each installment on the scheduled dates.
- If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, you must update your payment method within 5 days.
- A reasonable late fee or administrative charge, as disclosed at the time you enroll in the payment plan, may apply to failed or late payments.
4.2 Default & Cancellation of Payment Plan
If you fail to complete all required payments by the final due date (including any grace period communicated to you), Future Forest may cancel your ticket and payment plan. If Future Forest cancels for non-payment:
- the initial 10% deposit is non-refundable and is forfeited, as you agreed when you started the payment plan; and
- the amounts you have paid in excess of the deposit will be applied as a credit toward a future Future Forest event, valid for the period communicated to you, rather than forfeited.
Future Forest will not retain amounts you have paid in excess of the deposit other than as a credit under this section, except to the extent necessary to recover its actual, reasonable losses caused by your default. This section is subject to applicable law and to Section 3 (Refund Policy); where a refund is required by law or under Section 3, that requirement prevails.
4.3 Non-Refundability & Ticket Shipment
- Payment plans, including the deposit and installments, are non-refundable if you cancel, change your mind, or default, except as expressly provided in these Terms (including the credit treatment of installments on default under Section 4.2) or where required by law (for example, if the event is cancelled under Section 3.3).
- Tickets purchased on a payment plan will not be shipped and will not be valid for entry until the full plan balance has been paid and the order is marked as complete.
5. Prohibited Items & Searches
5.1 Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited on festival property:
- Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives intended as weapons, and other dangerous items)
- Explosives, fireworks, and flares
- Drones or other remote-controlled aerial devices
- Glass containers of any kind (including bottles and jars)
- Illegal substances and illegal drug paraphernalia
- Pets and animals, other than service animals required because of a disability, in accordance with applicable law and Future Forest’s Service & Guide Animal Policy
- Generators in general (Backwoods) camping areas
- Fuel canisters of any type, except small propane or butane canisters used with camping stoves in accordance with Section 6.6 (Fire, Fuel & Smoking Policy) Exception for fuel canisters if you have a reserved site and a generator.
- Any other item deemed unsafe, disruptive, or illegal by Future Forest or security staff.
Items that are confiscated are handled as set out in Section 5.5 (Confiscated Items).
Cannabis
- Cannabis may be possessed and used only by attendees who are 19 years of age or older, in accordance with applicable law and within posted possession limits (for example, up to 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent per person), and only in areas where smoking and vaping are permitted (see Section 6.6, Fire, Fuel & Smoking Policy).
- Cannabis edibles and concentrates must also comply with applicable law. Cannabis use must not interfere with the safety, comfort, or experience of others.
5.2 Searches
- All persons, bags, tents, and vehicles entering or on the festival grounds are subject to search at any time by security personnel.
- By entering the site, you consent to such searches.
- If you refuse to be searched, Future Forest may deny you entry or require you to leave the festival without a refund.
- Items that are not permitted on site, or that are unlawful, may be confiscated, surrendered, or refused entry, and will be handled as described in Section 5.5.
5.3 Illegal Substances
- The use, possession, sale, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
- Anyone found distributing illegal substances may be ejected from the event without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
5.4 Alcohol
- Future Forest does not sell alcohol. There is no bar, beer garden, or alcohol service anywhere on site.
- Future Forest operates a bring-your-own model for attendees who are of legal drinking age in New Brunswick (19 years of age or older). If you are 19 or older, you may bring alcohol for your own personal consumption, subject to the rules in this section. Future Forest may limit the quantity of alcohol brought onto the site at entry, as posted at the gate or on official channels.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within the camping areas and your own campsite. Alcohol must not be consumed in any public or common area of the festival, including stages, dance areas, walkways, vendor and market areas, washroom and shower areas, parking areas, and other communal spaces.
- Because glass containers are prohibited on site (Section 5.1), any alcohol you bring must be in non-glass containers. Glass bottles and jars are not permitted, including for alcohol.
- Alcohol found in a non-permitted area may be confiscated. Underage drinking, providing alcohol to anyone under 19, consuming alcohol in a non-permitted area, and intoxication that affects the safety or experience of others may result in confiscation, removal from the event without refund, and referral to law enforcement, in accordance with Section 1, the search and confiscation provisions in Sections 5.2 and 5.5, and the Code of Conduct (Section 8).
5.5 Confiscated Items
How a confiscated item is handled depends on whether it is unlawful, unsafe to store, or simply not permitted on site.
- Unlawful items. Items that are unlawful to possess will not be returned. They may be surrendered to or seized by Future Forest, turned over to law enforcement, or otherwise disposed of where they cannot lawfully be returned.
- Unsafe items. Items that cannot be safely stored, such as fuel, flammables, fireworks, or other hazardous items, may be disposed of for safety reasons and will not be returned, whether or not they are lawful to possess.
- Other prohibited items. For items that are prohibited under these Terms but are lawful and can be safely stored (for example, glass containers, or generators not permitted in general camping areas), you may be asked to return the item to your vehicle or remove it from the site rather than surrender it. If such an item is confiscated and is eligible for return, it will be tagged and you will be given a claim stub. You may collect it on Monday, August 10, 2026, during the posted pickup window at the Gate, on presentation of your claim stub, subject to a per-item handling fee (currently $20 per item, subject to change as posted). Items not collected by the end of the posted pickup window may be discarded or donated.
Future Forest will take reasonable care of items held for return but is not responsible for items that are not collected within the posted pickup window, for ordinary deterioration of stored items, or for items left behind, lost, or abandoned on the festival grounds.
6. Camping, Vehicles & Parking
6.1 Camping

6.4 Parking & Re-Entry
- Parking passes are sold separately, unless otherwise stated.
- Re-entry by vehicle, including the parking pass requirement and the re-entry fee, is subject to Section 2.4.
- Parking and camping are at your own risk. Future Forest is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or personal property, except where required by law.
6.5 Wait Times
- You should expect long entry wait times, potentially up to 4 hours, especially on Thursday and Friday.
- Future Forest is not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, security procedures, or other operational needs.

- Stoves must be attended while in use, placed on stable, non-flammable surfaces, and kept away from tents, dry vegetation, fuel, and other flammable materials.

- Fuel canisters of any type are not permitted, except for small propane or butane canisters used with camping stoves in accordance with this section.
- Future Forest may further restrict or ban stoves, smoking, generators, or other heat-producing equipment at any time if required by fire conditions, authorities, or safety considerations.
- Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas. You must dispose of cigarette butts and other waste in appropriate receptacles and never on the ground, in the forest, or in the river.
7. Media, Privacy & Intellectual Property
7.1 Photography, Recording & Likeness
- By attending Future Forest, you understand that photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
- You grant Future Forest Music & Arts Festival Inc. a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your image, voice, and likeness captured at the event, in any media, for documentation, archival, and promotional purposes, without compensation.

- Future Forest will act in a manner consistent with applicable human rights and other laws when enforcing the Code.
9. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By entering the festival grounds or participating in any Future Forest activity, you acknowledge and agree that:
9.1 Inherent Risks
The event involves inherent risks that can result in injury, illness, property damage, or death, including but not limited to:
- Exposure to loud music and sound levels,

- Travel to, from, and within the event site.
9.2 Assumption of Risk
You voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, associated with attending and participating in Future Forest, including those arising from the ordinary negligence of Future Forest Music & Arts Festival Inc., its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”), to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.3 Release of Liability & Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and forever discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind, whether in law or equity, including any such claim caused by the negligence of the Released Parties, arising out of or relating to:
- Your attendance at, or travel to or from, Future Forest; and
- Your participation in any activities on or around the festival grounds.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your negligent, wrongful, or unlawful acts or omissions,
- Your breach of these Terms, or
- Any claim made by a third party in relation to your conduct at the event.

9.4 Medical Treatment
- You consent to receive emergency medical treatment that may be deemed advisable by onsite medical professionals or emergency personnel while at Future Forest.
- You are responsible for the costs of any ambulance or other medical transport, and for any treatment costs not covered by a provincial or territorial health plan or other insurance applicable to you. If you are not covered by a Canadian provincial or territorial health plan, you are responsible for the costs of any emergency medical treatment and transport you receive. We recommend that visitors from outside Canada carry appropriate travel medical insurance.
9.5 Legal Limitations
- This waiver, release, and indemnity do not apply where prohibited by law, and do not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, human rights, or other laws that cannot be waived.
- Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9.6 Acknowledgment of Risk and Release
You acknowledge that you have read and understood this Section 9, that you understand it includes a release of legal rights, including the right to bring a claim against the Released Parties for their negligence, and that you are agreeing to it freely and voluntarily. Where Future Forest requires a separate waiver to be signed or otherwise confirmed as a condition of entry, you agree to provide that confirmation, and any such separate waiver and this Section 9 are to be read together.
10. Additional Legal Terms
10.1 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
- Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your attendance at Future Forest will be brought in the courts of New Brunswick, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
10.2 Severability
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving as much of its intent as possible.
10.3 No Waiver
- Failure by Future Forest to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Any waiver of a provision of these Terms must be in writing, signed, or clearly issued by Future Forest.
10.4 Entire Agreement
- These Terms, together with any clearly identified festival policies, FAQs, and ticketing conditions referenced at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and Future Forest regarding your attendance at the event.
- In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and other information (such as marketing materials or social media posts), these Terms will prevail, except where consumer protection or other applicable law requires otherwise.
- Festival policies and guidelines referenced in these Terms are available on our official website at the time of purchase.
10.5 Terms Modification
- Future Forest may update or modify these Terms from time to time.
- The version of the Terms in effect at the time you purchase your ticket generally governs that purchase, except:
- Where a change is required by law, public health order, or safety regulation; or
- Where the change is operational in nature and does not materially reduce your rights (for example, adding reasonable safety rules or clarifications).
- Any updates will be posted on Future Forest’s official website or other official channels, and may also be communicated by email or social media.

10.6 Consumer Protection and Prohibited Terms
Certain consumer protection laws, including consumer protection legislation in New Brunswick, may prohibit or limit specific terms in consumer agreements, may require specific disclosures, or may grant you rights that cannot be waived or restricted by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right, warranty, guarantee, or remedy that applicable consumer protection law confers on you and that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. If any provision of these Terms is prohibited or rendered unenforceable by applicable consumer protection law, that provision does not apply to you to the extent of the prohibition, and the remainder of these Terms continues to apply in accordance with Section 10.2 (Severability).
10.7 Language
These Terms are available in English and in French through Future Forest’s official channels. If there is any inconsistency between the English and French versions, each version has independent status, to the extent permitted by law.
10.8 Headings
Headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
10.9 Assignment
Future Forest may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms, including to a successor or affiliated entity, without your consent. You may not assign your rights under these Terms except by a permitted transfer of a ticket in accordance with Section 2.6.
Community Commitment
Future Forest is more than a festival. It is a community. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to help co-create a safe, inclusive, and sustainable gathering by following these Terms, respecting others, and caring for the land we share.
Land Acknowledgement
Future Forest gathers on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik people, beside the river Nem-Dit-Qu. We are grateful to gather and celebrate on this land, and we ask everyone who attends to care for it and treat it with respect.
