Dear Future Forest Family:
We have come to the difficult decision of canceling our in person Future Autumn event. Our hearts are heavy as our team has been working tirelessly to offer a theatre style event, which was felt to be the safest method of entertainment we could offer.
Dr. Robert Strang recently communicated that Nova Scotia “is at a critical tipping point. Now is the time for all Nova Scotians to reduce and restrict their activities and strictly adhere to all safety precautions.” Each and everyone of us has the responsibility to minimise the transmission of this terrible virus. Here at Future Forest, we making every effort to stay ahead of safety protocols to minimise jeopardising the safety and freedom we have within the Atlantic Bubble.
We will be following the situation closely and continuing to consult with health experts. As soon as it is safe to have an in-person event, we will make every effort to bring the forest to you. In these difficult times it is more important than ever to keep your community close, even if that means virtually. Unfortunately converting this particular event to online would not be financially feasible for us given the amount of work that is necessary.
Remember to support your local businesses, artists, musicians, as they struggle through this uncertain time. Everyone who has purchased tickets will be issued a full refund.
We are hopeful we will be together for a “Future Spring”.
In the meantime…
Clean Hands, Clear Heads, Open Hearts.
Stay safe!
