What is the Application Dashboard?

The Application Dashboard is an intuitive interface that connects your personal information with Future Forest applications. It allows you to securely view, manage, and update your details in our database.

Purpose of the Dashboard

Centralized Information: Consolidates applicant data in one secure location.

Efficiency: Eliminates the need to re-enter repetitive information across applications.

Flexibility: Supports multi-alias or discipline-specific applications.

Streamlined Processes: Simplifies applications across all teams and departments at Future Forest.

How to Use the Application Dashboard

1.Access the Dashboard

•Click on the link labeled “Application Dashboard.”

•Enter your email address when prompted, and you will receive a verification code.

Note for Future Pass members: Use the Account Dashboard to confirm that your membership is linked to this email address.

2.Update Your Information

•Review your profile for missing or incorrect details.

•Update your information to ensure accuracy.

3.Proceed with Applications

•Navigate to the application section and apply to available opportunities.

4.Troubleshooting Future Pass Issues

•If the system indicates you lack a Future Pass:

•Verify your membership status in the Account Dashboard.

•Allow a few minutes for newly purchased memberships to sync with the database.

5.Support

•For any issues, use the chatbox available on the dashboard.

Future Forest Music Artist Application Guide

Welcome to the Future Forest Music Application Platform! This is where artists can apply to perform at Future Forest 2025, a celebration of immersive art and electronic music set in a unique natural landscape. Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application.

Future Pass

This application requires applicants to be Future Pass members. Details on this can be found here. We also offer complementary Future Pass for minorities in the music community.

Event Details

Festival Dates: August 7-11, 2025

Location: Little River Retreat, Albright’s Corner, NB

Application Period

Application Opens: November 15, 2024

Application Deadline: January 8, 2025

Notification Date: March 14, 2025, for selected artists

Submission Requirements

1. Artist Information:

Stage Name

Music Genre(s) (aligning with Future Forest’s electronic and immersive soundscape)

Biography (100-200 words highlighting your artistic journey and unique style)

2. Performance Details:

Set Length (Typical sets range from 60-90 minutes)

Stage Preference (If any, though final assignments are based on curation needs and stage fit)

Technical Requirements: Provide details on equipment and tech support needs. We recommend submitting technical riders and stage plots early for smoother coordination.

3. Promotional Material:

Photos: High-resolution images for promotional purposes

Links: Social media handles, music streaming platforms, and previous live performances

Diversity and Inclusivity Focus

Future Forest is committed to showcasing diverse talent and maintaining inclusivity. Priority will be given to artists who:

• Are from underrepresented communities

• Reside in or represent Atlantic Canada

• Have not performed at Future Forest in recent years (2024 or 2023)

• Embrace Future Forest’s values of sustainability, inclusivity, and artistic innovation .

Selection Criteria

Selections are based on:

Artistic Quality: Applications are reviewed with a focus on uniqueness, technical skill, and alignment with Future Forest’s immersive ethos.

Diversity Goals: Our aim is to feature a mix of both returning and new artists, prioritizing a diverse representation.

Budget and Stage Fit: Applications are evaluated within the available budget and the stage-specific requirements.

Set time suitability: The artist must demonstrate that they can play a set that is suitable for the specific time slot.

Community Involvement: Repeat artist must demonstrate that they are committed to the community.

Compensation & Benefits

Performance Fee: Offers are based on experience, travel and stage placement.

Ground transport and Accommodation: Limited travel support and on-site accommodations are available, with priority given to headliners and international artists.

Meal: Food ticket provided during the festival.

Multi Alias Set Submissions

• Artist may summit multiple applications for different aliases which they are a part of.

• Please submit additional sets from the application Dashboard

• Sets submitted for artists which they are not a part of will be disqualified.

• Agents may submit sets for their artists but this must be clearly stated in the comments.

Additional Information

Artist Relations: Our Artist Relations team will assist with all logistics, from arrival to departure. A full artist welcome package will be provided before the festival.

Environmental Commitment: All artists are encouraged to support Future Forest’s sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and using the provided recycling and composting facilities.

On-Site Amenities: Access to artist green rooms, artist camping areas, and exclusive amenities provided during the festival.

This is where performers can apply to showcase their unique artistry at Future Forest 2025, a festival celebrating immersive art and electronic music in a breathtaking natural setting. Please carefully review the guide below before starting your application.

Submission Requirements

1. Performer Information

Provide your details, including:

Name/Stage Name:

Performance Style/Discipline: Select from categories like Dance, Fire Arts, Pole Dance, Aerials, Burlesque, Flow Arts, or Character Work.

Biography: (100–200 words) Highlight your background, experience, and unique style.

2. Performance Details

Share specifics about your act:

Act Description: Detail the mood, theme, and expected duration of your performance.

Technical Requirements: List equipment, stage, and tech support needs. Early submission of technical riders and stage plots is encouraged.

Preferred Stage/Setting: Indicate any preferences, though final assignments are based on curation needs.

3. Media and Showcases

Include promotional materials:

Photos: High-resolution images for use in promotional campaigns.

Video Links: Submit videos showcasing your performance. Ensure links to social media profiles or portfolio pages are public.

Future Pass Requirement

To accept an offer to perform at Future Forest 2025, a Future Pass is required. The Future Pass is a lifetime membership that includes:

•Express entry to events.

•Access to exclusive members-only content.

•Discounts on tickets for future events.

Important Notes:

•Only one Future Pass is required per performance contract. If applying as a group, one group member must hold the pass.

•If you do not already have a Future Pass, it can be purchased through our online shop.

•Complimentary Future Passes are available for artists who identify as part of an industry minority. Learn more about this initiative here.

•Artists from underrepresented communities.

•Performers based in or representing Atlantic Canada.

•Acts not featured in recent years (2023 or 2024).

Multi-Discipline Submissions

•Performers may submit applications for multiple disciplines or acts.

•Submissions made on behalf of others must clearly state the agent or representative in the comments.
